This long grain wild rice has been sustainably grown, harvested, and flown out of a remote lake just north of Jaclyn's hometown in Northwestern Ontario by Flying Wild Rice Co. This lake has been inhabited by a longtime friend's Indigenous family for generations. The wild rice offers a nutty flavour with ample texture and boasts a multitude of protein, fibre, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. This wild rice has been blended with organic shiitake mushrooms grown locally in Huron County by Weth Mushrooms and dried sage.
